I made up about 80 mounts from 1/4" black delrin. They are made for use with .825" OD tubing. i got this stuff from carbonfibertubeshop.com . I would take an offer but am thinking $40/all 80 sounds like a pretty good deal. This does not include shipping.

By as many extra props as you can get your hands on as you can only use Xaircraft props and if they break there arent many online stores that sell them. Also, I had a motor lock up on me this weekend so it might not be a bad thing to have an extra motor on hand as well.

As i am very close to ordering the DJI, does anyone know if you can buy replacement components individually? What if that thing tumbles and you break the gps for example? Unlikely to break more than the mount, but just a realistic question.

I am designing a new type of frame where there is no center of the craft. I am trying to eliminate the need for extra structure just to centralize the FC. Does anyone have first hand experience with the results of placing the FC at the far end of the frame?

thanks, I would have been very surprised if they didnt have that config. On that note I am surprised they made something for the AP market yet didnt make a unit with at least 10 outputs for an octo with 2 axis gimbal. But I am sure it is coming.
