I've noticed the GSN site will no longer recognize my user name or password after the system change.

For those that have some questions about how a Notam works. Bear in mind that in this case the controlling authority is the TSA, not the FAA. Notice how they handed off control of this one to an agency that is immune from legal recourse. You cannot sue the TSA, which just so happens to fall...

That is 100% correct and partially why the hobbyists are also subject to more the regulatory process that they suspect. Flight has to be incidental to the other activity. Chuck, There are actually two different sUAS units certified to fly in Alaska, from two different companies.

Watch out sporting event TFR now includes model aircraft and RPAS in the USA

You may indeed need to talk with counsel. I doubt you would have the second meeting with them before the government NPRM that covers all we do is released though.

Although I don't like the fact they lump this TFR into a national defense category we have unfortunately already experienced buffoons who have dropped their multirotors on people's heads and stampeded horses in sporting events. All through lack of concern and/or planning. Flight rules have...

How are altitude limits sensed by the DJI Naza hardware?

If you have a lock on 5 or more satellites and a decent GPS unit the altitude measurement will be within a meter or so of actual altitude. GPS is far more accurate a measurement than barometric. Baro altitude is influenced by pressure AND temperature and can be hundreds of feet off of true...

I misunderstood, my apologies. You truly do understand the cost of doing business. I'm hoping everyone else does too. It's going to cost something to get through all this and hopefully someone recognizes that starting interacting with some of the other organizations with generally similar...

Tarot T810 build with Pixhawk FC

Could I talk you into taking and posting a few pictures of views from under the center plates? I obtained an 810 kit that was a lot of loose prats and curious how the under plate battery plates and gimbal will install. Thanks for your efforts!

    Representation for Commercial sUAS

Several previous posts share a common implication, essentially stating there are multiple groups and individuals working independently to develop rules and regulations that may or will impact all that have a stake in sUAS operations not only in the U.S., but abroad as well. I believe it is long...

    Pixhawk Feedback?

The 3DR RTF products just had the bar raised really high if they want to be competitive.

    Pixhawk Feedback?

No apology required. I can't speak Spanish or Portuguese and writing either would be impossible. I tend to agree with you. Too many electrical connections being used for sUAS flight operations are things that should have remained inside laptops and tower mother boards. They are too fragile...

    Selecting the right Flight controller

In a similar situation I would choose Pixhawk but it's not the drop in and go type unit the A2 is. OTH, that difference is one of the things that makes it my preference.
