I'm going to try to come up with some kind of FPV assembly, that I could easily move from one quad, to another. Like I've seen done for the planes. Anybody else done this for the mini's? Kinda silly, having multiple TX's, cameras, antennas, etc. etc. Good for the suppliers, bad for the wallet...
Just got one of these a couple of days ago, and I love it! I got the cheaper one, that requires an external power supply. I'm using a motorcycle battery. Works great. Fast, and does a very good job at balancing the cells.:nevreness:
If you haven't already tried one of these, don't waste your money. At least for FPV. WAY too much latency, and the color is weird too. Haven't tried to record with a memory card in it yet. Wish I had my $$$ back!:black_eyed:
Also while on the subject, I also had bought one of the cameras that...
Here's a short video I just shot, at my jungle hermit shack. WARNING, I'm an ugly old fart! First part FPV with Fat Shark Attitudes, then some very close LOS to finish off the battery.

I'm using Naza Lite in just about everything. Sooo easy to setup. And I put the GPS on both mini quads. Tried one without, but with the GPS, if I get disorientated, just letting the sticks go, will usually result in a stationary hover, till I figure things out. I just fly around my one acre...
The camera, not the TX. The way you have it wired, should work, with a 5 volt camera. If the camera your using is 12 volt, you'll have to supply it with power from a 3c battery. I ran into the same problem with the first 12 volt camera I had.
If I recall, with the Immersion TX's, you have to switch a couple of the wires around, if your just plugging in the connector that comes on most of the cameras. I have 3 Immersion TX's in 3 of my quads. The 600mw works the best. However, I'm learning the hard way, $$$ that it all depends on the...
Ha Ha Ha, It only took me a couple of days to learn to stock up on props! I'll bet I have at least 10 or 12 sets ready to replace the broke ones. Picked up some self locking nuts today, at ACE. The kind with the nylon insert. Lost too many of the regular nuts, trimming bushes. I'm...
Yes, I've built 2 Qav250's They are a blast to fly, but a pain locating all the equipment, wiring etc. etc. I wish there were more pictures of other peoples setups. Mostly all you find on you tube, is videos of them flying. I'm using Naza Lite on both. 3c on one, and 4c on the other. Had one...
I've been having a ball with my QAV250, in fact, I have 2 of them. Both setup with Naza Lite w/GPS
This one is on 3 cells, if you think it screams, you should hear the other one on 4 cells!

Nice rig, killer motors. What batteries are you using, and what's your flight times? I had a set of those legs, and mine broke in the center, from flexing. A cross brace between the legs, on the bottom, will prolong their life.:nevreness:
