I agree with Kloner. Software/firmware is usually the very last thing I'd suspect. Something ain't right, and maybe the easiest way to figger it out is by trying different bits and pieces. The parts you listed "should" work well together, But I have never tried the Afro ESC's. So maybe try...

Ummm, I think, "yes" that is the problem. I believe you have to switch between manual and GPS 5 or 6 times, to get into the cal mode. BUT, I only have Spektrum radios. Someone should come along with Devo experience and help you soon.:tennis:

I also think the gains might be the problem. On a few of my quads, if I go too high on gains, I'll get the "nervous quiver" on hovering. Back off, and all is well.

Unless they made some improvements, the latency makes them just about useless for FPV.

I have a couple that do the same thing, but I'm under a bunch of trees etc. Sometimes the Naza Lite has to warm up a bit, before it acts normally.

My opinion, if you are just starting, get a Naza Lite for $69. Read all about it, hook it up, and go fly. I've messed around with Multiwii's, Naze is pretty close to fly out of the box, but twitchy for a beginner. Naza Lite if you just want to fly around and have a good time. Naza Lite w/GPS is...
