Got to fly our GH4 yesterday and although it was really windy and we were trying to do some close in stuff it went quite well. We still have a lot to learn about the camera but my initial thoughts are this is a very nice camera and well suited to the task. Looking forward to flying it more :)

Yeah I have it on a gimbal......The Rockinon Cine 12mm T2.2 is half the weight as the 16mm which is desirable....I think if I was going to get a specialised lens like this I'd go all the way and get a Voigtlander 25mm

Thanks kloner......I still think it's probably the best choice for this class of camera. What are your thoughts on the Pan 12-35 F2.8 Lens for general daytime work or have you got a better preference??

Thanks Kloner.......I currently have that set up with my Canon 5D gimbal and am going to get a GH4 as I am seeing lots of good results with them for both stills and video. I wasn't 100% sure if it would send any video before taking a still. Thanks Steve.......That is strange why they would do...

Those of you who have some experience with the GH4, Is there an output signal from the HDMI port before taking a still pic which can be used to frame the shot. I'm guessing there would be a preview of the shot after it's been taken and a live view in video mode. Can someone confirm?? Thanks...
