Your thoughts about the mW output power

Yep. But it was a bad ground test tho! Should try some more but if I knew I wouldn't have bought these items. Like I like my goggles but I don't think they are worth all the money..

Your thoughts about the mW output power

7km ! I can barely get 200 meter with my 600mW... You mean it up to the antenna's?

Your thoughts about the mW output power

Hi there I was recently checking the laws in my country about output power of video transmitters.. For private usage: 2.4Ghz is limited to 10mW 5.8Ghz is limited to 25mW.. Really what a joke is this.. What are your thoughts about it? It's everywhere in Europe like this. Would you use a 200mW...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

I see thanks. Maybe buy a crosshair would be "safer". Btw foxtech doesn't have any crosshairs And the motors are for a sport quad :)

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

I see. I'll check foxtechfpv in a second. I think both seem nice to have and decide what antenna I need at that specific time. It's just an idea but can't I put a helical on a tripod with an extension wire to my goggles or will the long wire result in signal loss. Should be so much easier...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

Really nice there Kloner. I have almost exact setup as you - Disco - Naza - MT2814 710KV (9" Graupner Eprop) - HK 30A ESC - Simonk/RapidESC Flashed with N-FETS - 9X with FrSky (using stock atm since I'm waiting for the CPPM update to the Naza) - FS Dominator 5.8Ghz - immersionRc 5.8Ghz 600mW v2...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

Well yes. ezUHF is too expensive for my needs. It's not that I'm going to fly far away. 500-1km should be doable. But I want my discovery to go into old crappy buildings too. So should I switch to a 1.3Ghz system OR just get some directional antenna's? Or will I have as much noise with a...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

ezUHF is rather expensive.. Any cheaper UHF options? Or other options for my video?

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

Got these http://www.bevrc.com/bev-58g-cloverleaf-antenna-set2-antennassma-right-angle-connector_p363.html Well I hope it will be better if I'm in an open space.. Do I always have to fly in LOS (vTx & vRx) with 5.8Ghz? I'd like to fly between some trees too..

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

Yes I'm a reviewer for FOXTechFPV. I'm getting a UHF shield and 7" monitor to review. But 2.4Ghz / 5.8Ghz doesn't need UHF shield right? Here's a picture of my antenna's.. What would be the cost to make a mast for me and do you have a picture of the final look?

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

"is the filter you speak of for the cam the one the recall on that cam changed about it?" What do you mean? Will do another test in an open area and see if it's better. Well my image is very clear and very nice quality. I can see every detail. Just some noise when walking away and at a few...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

I see. So get it more open and I get 100 yards should be fine? I just want to fly 500 meter around.. Should be do-able right? Jesse

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

In other words? I'm screwed with 5.8Ghz for some FPV'ing here? I will fly higher and on a more open space to take off..

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

Edit: I just saw the video.. You are flying above the things. But I was testing on ground. I'll make some pictures and post them tonight. I have: - Fat Shark Dominator with the 5.8Ghz Module - ImmersionRc 5.8Ghz V2 vTx - Powered by a 3S LiPo - My cam is just a HoryzonHD with a voltage...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

Both antenna's facing up. My vTx was lying in the garage tho. Not yet outside because if someone drove on my parking spots my cam could get killed. In this test the receiver was flying (me walking around) and the transmitter was just on the ground)

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

Hello there I just did my first ground test with my first set of skew & cloverleaf antenna's (5.8Ghz) and I couldn't get much further than with stock antenna's. My camera and immersionRc 5.8Ghz vTx was lying on the ground in front of my home and I walked away with the goggles. I get a lot of...
