Seems to me like all of the larger (more expensive) craft tend to use 2 batts in parallel rather than just one. If you are running 2 batts and one of them has a cell failure it won't be a disaster.

Taranis are pretty much one of the better choices right now. I bought a Spectrum DX-8 and now find myself getting ready to switch to a Taranis.
