Electrical yes... Mechanical NO... NO way the helis has so much more things to fail ... Also if you do a right setup with good quality board plus escs plus motors and put the right prop with the right lipo and weight you wont have any problems..! With the MRs everyone can try and do something...

Yeap it protect your lipo..! One of the best chargers is PL8... On this you will find long life charge and the normal charge..! On the long life the only difference is that you charge til 4.1v per cell..! I think that they know something better..!
