Once you resolve the RTH bucking issue after setting Basic and Attitude gains back to inhibit, take your MR back to the workbench and using WKM Assitant, try setting new gain parameters using X2 for RC Xmitter remote tuning control and see if RTH works without the bucking bronco effect.

Good information...... I believe you mean you would never use solid core for MRs but would use high strand count silver plated military spec copper wire for MRs since this is designed for avionics where vibration can still occur.

This is not a DJI Naza or Wkm issue. It's jittery because of a RC transmitter configuration issue..... your TX parameters are set to close to the edge...... please go to Jon Desjardin's Youtube videos on this topic.... look for Futaba setup1 and setup2......

No reason to be embarrassed... That strategy is, by far, superior to most that I have seen..... a) minimum weight increase but excellent strength using carbon fiber. b) money saved for more important accessories.

Did you take note of your battery voltage level protection settings before the firmware upgrade? Firmware upgrades erase or overwrite previous settings such as these.... Also you must have a blue bar appear as shown in the Assitant software manual when you select manual, attitude of GPS...
