The Musky gimbal is a bit of a funny thing... The Problem is, its a big gimbal... which is a great thing, unless it isn't. Confusing huh?? Here's why. First things first, the brushless gimbal is about the simplest thing mechanically to make work, it's a basic L bracket with an awesome board...

Peter it is extremely unlikely that you will find insurance which which will cover your UAV operations. Best you can hope for is Public Damage/ Public Liability and standard equipment insurance against theft. We buy our photo gear from B&H and purchase the additional drop/fall from Squaretrade...

All righty, I'm new as well but heres a couple of things I've played with on our smaller birds. TBS Disco Flew awesome w 2814s (no extensions) and 9" Graupners. Would likely have flown better w 8" Graupners but cant find any. Slight forward back wobble at highest fast forward flight (FFF)...

Hi Bart, the Feel comment was really related to Pilot Impression. To be candid the DJI lineup has worked quite well for me in Feature Set and "Feels" responsive and accurate in flight. Perhaps even more than I prefer as the level of correction that DJi applies in Atti/GPS is significant...

That was the ticket! Took the Ad6->X8 out for a test last night and the diet worked. Fully loaded w single battery AUW was 11.6lb/ 5.2kg. Is going to need the second battery which will bring it just under 6 kg. Still the tiniest bit porky (55% hover in Manual) but the Quadframes LG and Musky...
