    Slow Rotation to the left...

Buggah. It's still rotating - left - even after calibrating the IMU and making sure that the throttle was centered when I hit "write". I have not tried a different GPS puck - maybe tomorrow. I'm leaving on Tuesday and am still plannig to take it with me.....starting to get a bit frustrated...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Flight Time assistance needed.

I am only at 3~5 degrees West declination - so it would look pretty 'straight'. I've tried moving it as much as +15 and -15 degrees with no change in the slow rotation to the left. I've recalibrated the IMU (thanks to Tahoe Ed and tstrike) but haven't had a chance to fly it yet. I'm hoping that...

1 watt high power LED's for night/day orientation.

Has anyone found a suitable switch to use for turning LED lights off and on in flight? I found one that is compatible with 2S, but since I'm flying 4S, I would like to be able to use the same battery to minimize weight. I was thinking to use a 3 position switch for Off/Bank1/Bank2 so nav lights...

    Naza RTH Crash

Hey Ryanebraska, I believe that the light on the VU goes "out" when it's calibrated correctly. When you first flip the 3 position switch to get into calibration mode, the light turns yellow. After your first rotation with the MR 'level' it turns green. You are then supposed to point the nose...

Hi Exploracam - I'll PM you.

    Slow Rotation to the left...

Thanks tstrike. I looked at the thread but was unable to see the video's as they showed "This video is private". I've contacted Exploracam to see if I can gain access to them. Most of the thread was discussing "Right Drift" (Y axis), but I think my issue is the X axis. I don't think that I can...

    IMU Calibration

Hi Exploracam - When I click on your video it reads "This video is private". Is there a way that I can see them? A s noted in a different thread, I am having a slow yaw to the left (-Y) that will not stop even with trim added. I have just found out about the IMU calibration and completed it -...

    Slow Rotation to the left...

tstrike - thanks. On the V2, there are indents in the boom / motor mounts to support the alignment. I guess they added those with the V2? IMU calibration? No - I have not done that. What I have done is the GPS calibration (page 32 in the Naza v2.6 manual). Is that necessary? I saw the section...

    Slow Rotation to the left...

tstrike - please define "tweaked"? I confirmed during the building process that the booms fit into the detents (nipples) and that they were "square" to the frame. I've just confirmed that all blades tips are at the same level / height to each other with a dial indicator (not exact as the body...

    Slow Rotation to the left...

These are the stock DJI ESC's -- so I haven't (I'n not sure how) to calibrate them.

    Slow Rotation to the left...

I tried rotating it +15 degrees and - 15 degress to see if it made any difference .... and .... nothing. It still rotates slowly to the left. I don't think that the VU will flash a gree light if the GPS disc is not picking up the GPS satellites - so, that point as a fact, althouhg I don't think...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Flight Time assistance needed.

Razzil, I started a different thread on the DJI forum since the "rotating left" seems to be a DJI issue and not a Droidworx issue. The motor mounts are all level. They hit the detents as they were installed. As you (and Tahoe Ed) have both suggested - I moved the GPS puck to the Right Rear arm...

    Slow Rotation to the left...

I have moved the GPS puck (see the pictures) to the Right Rear arm using two of the additional mounts for the arms and the motor mount. I have recofigured the location in the Assistant Software. No change. It still rotates slowly to the left (no thanks to Will Farrell). The only other...

    Slow Rotation to the left...

That's Funny!! I only have th opposite problem -- I CAN turn left :)

    Slow Rotation to the left...

Thanks Tahoe Ed. Yes, I calibrated the GPS with the calibration "dance" just prior to taking off. No, I had not had any "crashes". No, I have not added anything to it - it's still new and I'm trying to work the bugs out before I add anything else. Current settings for the GSP" X = -11 Y = 0 Z...

No change. In a hover -- it still rotates left ... slowly. I also landed and rotated it to the other side - no change. The F450 does NOT do this....

    Slow Rotation to the left...

I posted this in the Droidwrorx forum as part of another thread but thought I might ask it here also....as this is the DJI forum. I am experiencing a slow rotation to the left (rudder) when hovering in GPS mode. It will only hold steady if I hold in some right rudder. No issues with altitude...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Flight Time assistance needed.

Update: I re-set the GPS and confirmed that it was setup correctly in the Assistant Software. When flying - in GPS mode - I am still having a slow left hand rotation when flying the CX4. I could not correct it with trimming the rudder channel. I thought that maybe it was the X axis not being...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Flight Time assistance needed.

Bummer. Until I saw the picture that you posted on the CX113 Gimbal thread - that's what I thought I had. It turns out that I have the "mini" -- just a single axis gimbal (half the price)....so it should be half the setup difficulty :) ....and the beat goes on.....
