That looks like a pretty good idea. I guess it doesn't matter if you are floating just under the surface or at the bottom really, unless the water is too deep for the buoy to make it to the top.

Anyone know of a larger version of this? I have a 1000mm octo that carries a DSLR. I'm not sure of the weight but I'm sure it would take quite a few of these to float it.

I upgraded to 5.22 and the RTH didn't work. I read on rc groups about someone else having that problem also. I went back to 5.20 and everything works fine again.

Yes. I really like the gimbal.

So far I really like the motors. They seem to be balanced well and have plenty of power for what I'm doing. They are also pretty cool after flight. I don't know how much it will lift. The most I have lifted with it so far is a Canon 5D and it did that very easily.
