    Just a quick vid of running up the first motor, we were relieved that there seems to be enough power to lift it, we were starting to worry that the weight was getting too much for the motors.

    Frame so far, pretty much all done except for soldering up the arducopter board, we ran up 1 motor with a prop and at half throttle it was lifting one side of the Hexa up, so I think it will have plenty of power.

    Actually thinking about it, I may be better with 3 small solid state heading hold gyros, they weigh next to nothing and the ones for 400-450 size helis are pretty small.

    Hi Macsgrafs, I contacted the BMFA today to get a copy of my heli A cert, I done it a while ago and lost the original. Anyhow I am about to embark on applying for my CAA permits and would appreciate any guidance/ advice you have with regards to what they require.
