Ok. But the iOSD for example is able to display height in Meter. So there must be a (pretty trivial) calculation of pressure -> height, of course. Hence during power-up, I assume, the current pressure is stored, so that the height can be determined in relation to that pressure / the takeoff...

When does WKM calibrate it's barometric pressure/altitude sensor, a) only during power-up (that's pretty obvious) b) during power-up and when setting altitude offset in Ground Station (GS)? In order to (better) understand how GS deals with altitude/height, this is an interesting detail to know.

Well, if the are seeking for "friend users" and they are posting a message, it's their turn... If that's the way they care about friend users (who shall do some work and hence get a LED for free) I won't be the one to push.

I just come back from the flying field and once again I observed that a WPs height (e.g. 40m) has been changed after setting (the proposed) altitude offset. When I uploaded the 1 WP mission GS changed the WP's height by about 5m! Why? I didn't change location and of course I didn't change the...

I think you are right, in general. However, when I define a waypoint with an altitude of let's say 20m, do an altitude offset while my MR is on the ground and upload the mission, I see that the altitude uploaded is somehow "corrected" by a small amount, usually a fraction of a meter. The...
