Hoverfly HELP - I am starting to think I'm "special" - HF Pro issues Green Board

I did update to 4.8 and I redid all calibrations. I will re-do a flash and recalibrate everything tomorrow again. I still love my HFP's! This one just has me stumped!

Hoverfly HELP - I am starting to think I'm "special" - HF Pro issues Green Board

OK so I plugged in the board to the comp. The horizon is tilted at best and moves around slightly but is not flat. What do I do?

Hoverfly HELP - I am starting to think I'm "special" - HF Pro issues Green Board

Ok, so I had this HF Pro (Green) board set up on a cheap frame and it worked very nicely without much effort at all. Flew smooth as butter, AL worked and to be honest I never even tried AH. Anyways, I pulled the HFP board out of el cheapo and built a decent Y6 rig I built. (Pics- First pic...

Looking for a good but cheapER Y6 frame... Any advice? What's the best Y6?

Yep like all these guys have said Rusty's stuff is really nice for the price. And he now carries booms that are excellent quality. Also he has a crash warrantee. If you have a misfortune, he will replace any part for free, you just pay shipping. He just needs a picture of the broken stuff...

Want a capable heavy lift Okto

The Tarot Hexa is junk. I had one for a tiny bit and sold it. The arms are 16mm, and the plastic clips are made of a very brittle material. The Octo looks ok, but I was not a fan of the hex. I would say it would be an OK rig for a Gopro, but no way a DSLR.

Zero UAV Which "inexpensive" Android Tab will work with YS-X6 GCS ??

Great options, but does anyone know what makes a android tab compatible with the current GCS? I have read where guys have bought a tab only to find out it is not compatible!

Zero UAV Which "inexpensive" Android Tab will work with YS-X6 GCS ??

Reason I ask is that after reading the threads, it seems like some of the cheaper ones will not work. I'd hate to buy a used tab only to find out it can't run the software! ERRR... this review may get sent back.... and SOON.

Zero UAV Which "inexpensive" Android Tab will work with YS-X6 GCS ??

Hey guys, I was assigned a review of the ZeroUAV YS-X6 150 waypoint system for one of the websites I work for. I have been setting this thing up on my rig for a week or so and I'm now getting into starting to program it and such. I have an iphone and and ipad, but I have NO interest in jail...

Hoverfly Setting up Autolevel on HFP.. small question.

Ok thanks Pete. So for AV, closer to "smooth" will be of a benefit. I'll give it a go and move that slider to the left a good bit. Thanks!

Hoverfly Setting up Autolevel on HFP.. small question.

In the set up client, when setting the slider for auto leveling... It has Smooth ---------- Balanced ------- Aggressive. I have left the slider at balanced but I'm interested in finding out what exactly smooth and aggressive mean. Does the auto level respond Smoothly allowing the rig to drift...

Nat Geo Photo of the day! MikroKopter Drone

Personally I think that any media no matter what they call the things, that seems positive and shows how people are using them in a responsible manner is good for us. Even if they start it off with the military applications, if people see that a lot of their favorite things (cars, women, sports...

Zero UAV Zero UAV YS-X6 [Owners Thread] *Autopilot system for multirotors*

Is that the thing that says "power calculation" ? HAHA if so that is pretty funny! That chart is a little confusing as the red power lead does a loop instead of pig tailing. But I think I got it now. I didn't want to mess up the power, usually you only get one chance to mess that up. ;-)

Zero UAV Zero UAV YS-X6 [Owners Thread] *Autopilot system for multirotors*

OK. so I'll put that module FIRST, and then pigtail that to the other power lead that powers the data link. And to also confirm, I should use the lead coming off the power management module to power the main FC module correct?

Zero UAV Zero UAV YS-X6 [Owners Thread] *Autopilot system for multirotors*

Ahh ok. So I think I'll maybe try to use the servo lead coming out of this to power the FC. perhaps there is a filter on the PCB board. The frame is just a Rusty's UAP2 Octo frame. It's really pretty nice for the price. It's got 21.5mm arms, and the boom mounting blocks are very nice.

Zero UAV Zero UAV YS-X6 [Owners Thread] *Autopilot system for multirotors*

Hey everyone. I have started installing a full-blown 150 waypoint YS-X6 into an Octo I'm building. I have been reading through this thread and figuring this thing out. (The manual SUCKS!) I'm a HoverFly Pro guy, and I'm doing a review of the YS-X6 for RCG, so this FC platform is new to me...
