Do you lose calibration over time?

I would think it could not hurt.

    Mantis hybrid Octo just completed

I am in-betweener, as if the wind is lower, nothing is as smooth as a flat 8. With the wind up, I was pretty convinced that a co-ax was the way to go until I tried a larger Hex. I think the Hex has the same properties as a coax 8. The prop disc’s are far enough apart that the wind blows through...

DJI Naza Lite Flight Controller -- No blue on 3 way switch in Attitude mode

The Naza lite only uses blue to designate all 3 positions. You are correct. Can you try a different switch? Or is there a setting where the middle setting of the switch may have had it’s value adjusted? I set up a lite recently and I only had to adjust the end points, the center was perfect...

DJI Naza lite compared to Normal Naza

I think this is the answer. My friend tried a lite on a 450 size frame and it was rock solid. SO.. instead of being mad.. time for a 450 size night flying rig! :D

DJI Naza lite compared to Normal Naza

I am pretty bummed about this. I have had so much success with many other flight controllers and the whole time everyone kept telling me how great Naza is. i flew a few Naza V1 and V2 and they were great but had a “robotic’ flight feel which is not my cup of tea but they did what they are...

DJI Naza lite compared to Normal Naza

My point was to find out if others were having this problem. If you read my first post. I was not sure if i had done something wrong with the set up. Many hours later and reading several forums and posts and what not I answered my own question and provided the info for others. What’s your deal...

DJI Naza lite compared to Normal Naza

The review is on the frame, not the FC. I have never hidden the fact that I can’t stand DJI or NAZA... The FC will not be mentioned in the review, except that a "NAZA is the FC” being used. The lite is already out, I’m sourcing a regular Naza. I’d love to put in another SuperX or a hoverfly, but...

My Octo Doesn’t Lift Enough or Fly Long Enough – What Can I Do?

    Yep... 10 + lbs of payload = $$$$ 15 - 20 lbs of payload = $$$$$$$$$$$

DJI Naza lite compared to Normal Naza

Yea I have no interest in using the lite for an AV rig, this was just for a review and possibly a fun FPV rig, but it just sucks so bad that it’s not even usable for that. So the consensus i’m getting is that 500mm and under and the lite is OK (also light weight) any bigger and you get...

DJI Naza lite compared to Normal Naza

Hey guys, So anyone try out a Naza Lite that has a naza? I’m not a naza guy but I have a lot of experience with HoverFly, KK2, SuperX and a few other flight controls. I am doing a review for my day gig at RCG and i was sent a Naza lite. The frame is a SkyHero Spyder. It’s a pretty cool frame...

My Octo Doesn’t Lift Enough or Fly Long Enough – What Can I Do?

Those motors are completely wrong, and you won’t lift anything with a 3S system. You want to look for a motor that can lift at least 1500 - 2000 grams at 50% throttle per motor. And can spin a minimum of 15 inch props. I have a heavy lift hex that can easily lift 15 lbs and it’s a 6S system...

    Best Nex5 3-Axis Gimbal for the $$

What size are the motors you are using. The first gimbal I had had crap motors and was simply a turd and got smashed. The second I still have, and it seems like it could work, but it seems to get shakes in long forward flight. The rig is properly balanced, and the props are spot on. The gimbal...

XAircraft Number of channels needed for SuperX failsafe.

6 channels is all you need. CH1 - 4 for flight control CH5 - 3 way switch (man/ATT/GPS) CH6 - 2 way switch (OFF/RTH) And fail safe should actually be NO switch, it should be that if your transmitter goes off or you lose signal it fails to RTH on.

XAircraft Getting ready for new Pro version

I only had the yellow light once, and I cured it by reinstalling the firmware. I have never seen it again on all 3 SuperX’s I have. Do you have a pic of your install? Also, I don;t think it’s temp related as I live in Ohio and I had my quad out today 36 deg F, 15 mph winds and snowing.. no...
