Helped a friend get some footage for an edit he is doing. The guys were here racing, they werent really there to get filmed..so that was a bit of a challenge. Here is what I managed with left over aerial stuff. I am looking forward to seeing what my buddy does with the ground and aerial footy...

i can confirm that the short will NOT work with the 8fgS. not sure if Super is different than but 8fg. but for the 8fgS you need the long.

who is your dealer? maybe he can help. i am currently having some zen issues as well and my dealer is working with me to get it solved quickly. my issues is different but i can tell you that my motors are not hot.

Flying backwards is ALWAYS a no no for MR's????? - please clarify. Do you mean nose in? Im not sure I understand what you mean. I do fly nose in all the time and if that is flying backwards, im not sure why its a no no. please inform as I do not want to be doing something i should not be doing.

So I contacted my very good and helpful dealer in the USA and he did not know when they would ship or what they would cost. So DJI spill it! When will dealers get them and how much??? I am currently suffering from vibes getting to the IMU and I would really like my very expensive Zen s800 combo...

thoughts on flying over active participates in the shoot - post a safety meeting? by active participants, i mean mtn bikers in full gear, skiers, BMX guys etc.

you might try the manual focus + auto setting. its what I have been using the most. quick and easy. when I first got it I was manually setting everything. Missed a few shots that way and one day I tried the auto and was quite pleased. When I was manually setting things up, I would on occasion...

Rick are you manually focusing? the Nex5n has 3 focus modes. AF, DMF and MF. you want to be in manual focus MF. I am getting some pretty decent results manually focusing, then having everything else on auto 1080/50 AVCHD https://vimeo.com/64402894

Trec-r - not sure what you need but I have a friend pretty versed in vacuum forming stuff. He used my snow mobile hood and made another one for me out of Carbon Fiber. If you need something one off - maybe he could help.
