That's an impressive price for what you're getting. Are you limited on lenses for the GH4 in that gimbal or will it balance with a wide range? What batteries are you using and what kind of flight times?

We've flown the Ronin on a Cinester-based X8. It's very, very heavy... video was beautiful, but due to the weight we only got about 4:30-5:00 out of it with U7 420s and dual 11000mah 6S. Plus it has horrendous roll drift in anything but static shots. MoVi will be here Tuesday.

I'm working on a mount for a Cinestar 8... I've found a couple of 4 and 8 point plates available, but none have the bolt pattern I need for the quick releases (I have a separate source for those). Not gonna spend $800-900 for an outdated 3rd axis kit just for a $50 CF plate, so any help...

I was at the same place last year... Had my quad with a GoPro with me.... ....and it didn't leave my car :cold:

Zits (and C&H) are my favorite comics... having a quadcopter in this one is awesome. The fact that multicopters have gotten enough attention to appear in comics though :cold: I guess it was bound to happen eventually.

....if building a whole new aircraft to try out a different flight controller makes more sense than installing it on an old one you never fly.

The Ronin is only slightly heavier than the last multirotor gimbal I used (about 7.5lbs (they say) without the handles) which admittedly wasn't the best. I imagine it'll work okay for a bigger bird. I'll post up the actual weights as soon as ours arrives if you guys need them. I do have a...
