My first APM is on the way and Im plotting out my next moves. I'm thinking of putting it on my tiny little 250 sized h-quad and using it for autonomous flight (or at least trying). Has anyone had much luck with APM & Droidplanner?

Have you tested that Acrylic yet for the motor mounts? It can be pretty brittle. I use it for prototyping a lot, but then switch to G10 or carbon before cutting the actual working parts. With a smaller motor you might be ok, but for something this size I would be carful. Looks great otherwise...

The short answer, yes, something like this does exist, but it's not a drone. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. There are already several warehouse robotics companies out there that can meet your needs, they just don't fly. Try http://www.symbotic.com for starters.

You can use it, but they act as two separate units with two different GPSs. I have two that I have been using for a few years now and just recently replaced.
