    Droiders WMK Quad

Ha ha, I had the same problem Dave, I went through device manager, properties and clicked install driver from there, it is a headache at first though, looking forward to seeing how your test flight went.

    Mikrokopter or Ardupilot

I have struggled with an ACM board for a few months now, hoping the new firmware release would be "the one" and all my problems would be solved, unfortunately it never was, combined with posting your issues on the forum and never getting definative answers but try this, try that suggestions. If...

Lense advice for Sony NEX 5

Hi all, I have a 18-55 lense on my NEX 5 at the moment but it's a big old lump (about 200g) and probably not best suited to AP, can anyone suggest a better lense as I know a few people are using this camera.

    First flight with DJI Wookong

Got my first test flight with DJI Wookong last night, big thanks to Droider for getting it to me and top marks to Quadcopters.co.uk for sorting it out even though Geoff was on holiday! Great service. We spent 20 mins after the flight trying to find words to describe it, altitude control in atti...

    Drilling my booms

Or make a couple of jigs that are using the pinch clamps with tha hole position on for either end of the shaft, rest it all on a glass worktop or something you know has good level tolerence, level them both up and pinch up the bolts, drill away.

    This hobby doesn't come cheap!!

I think droider uses a nex 5, he can probably advise us as I don't know too much about the nex 5 either, I've shortlisted down to that or the lumix lx5, a long way from the 5d I had initially envisaged, but the reality of building it all and battling on with the ardupilot board has meant setting...

    MultiWii / NAZE / SP Racing F3 Anyone using Arducopter 2.0 ?

We are using Ardupilot on our hexa, with mixed feelings, stable mode is really great, however loiter mode has been a constant problem, with altitude surges that would surely end in a crash if left unchecked, I'm using 2.0.39b as I cannot select 2.0.40 with the mission planner, it automaticaly...

    Camera mount servos

I'm sure I read somewhere that digi servos apply max voltage for every movement, resulting in very quick reaction times, however analogue varies the applied voltage according to the extent of movement required, eg, small movement lower voltage. this results in slower, but smoother reactions that...

I thought the asctec falcon 8 uses the lumix lx3 and lx5, it has a live video link to the screen on the transmitter.

Zip tied my mobile phone to the undercarriage and got some in flight footage today, pleased with the results considering there was no damping and it was really gusty

    Newbie from UK

Got our second test flight in today using the Graupner props, thanks for the recommendation they made the world of difference, flown in standard stabilize mode without changing any settings it flew great, perfectly stable and easy to control, some more testing to do in other flight modes and...

    Newbie from UK

Managed to get our first test flight in today, we took a gamble on some cheap props because we werent sure we had the right diameter/ pitch, we paid the price. Horrible vibration followed shortly by a snapped blade, can anyone recommend a good prop in 12"x 4.5, and a UK supplier. Other than that...

Setting up 2 transmitters for AP work

What if the two transmitters were connected via a buddy lead, couldn't the second take control over whatever functions they want then.
