Since you have this copter 2nd hand, you may want to do an advanced flight controller check using the Naza software. Seems like a controller problem. Also do the stick calibration.

Make sure the wire to your power distribution board is the same size wire as on your battery. It should not be smaller. Is the wire getting hot? How much does your copter weigh?
