    DJI CE Approval in Europe

As a former aircraft technician I am aware that CE is not an airworthiness standard! All I am saying is that there was no scrutiny over this with my certification in the UK, whatever the IAA say is a different matter. Your first question should have been answered if you have already contacted...

    DJI CE Approval in Europe

Its a curious topic Damien, and one that is not a consideration in the UK. I guess its because there are no airworthiness standards below 20kg, if a CE mark were required this would rule out a lot of home built rigs. Cant say I know much about it. I guess if that's what the IAA want its their...

    DJI CE Approval in Europe

First up you will need to see what the IAA are saying about Aerial work with Small unmanned Aircraft and go from there.

So who does make the best Multirotor controller.

Have you tried Skookum 720 Denny, now comes with GPS and all the trimmings RTH etc, looking favourable until DJI can incorporate RTH failsafe into the Naza H AND WKH.

WKM + Cinestar 3 axis Power Problems?

I dont know if there is a lot of difference between the gimbal outputs of WKM and Naza. While waiting until I could afford Radians tried the Naza outputs and powered from a 6v BEC on the freefly servos as a make do solution and they dont work basically. I got horrific latency and jitters...

WKM + Cinestar 3 axis Power Problems?

Is there any reason you use an seperate battery for them Tom, as opposed to a BEC

    Radian stabilizers

Dont know Str8Up, I would think its worth using the same ones that the system has been designed and tested with, for the sake of a few more dollars when you already invested a lot of money in the gimbal and radians. Pretty shoddy that you didn't get them included, if the controller needs them to...

    Radian stabilizers

Well have a good hitch, just getting back on topic, there is a set of radians on here going for a good price. I have a lot of faith in anything John Cunningham is involved with, his Carvec system has been about for a good while I gather its still about the best FC available for SRH.

    Radian stabilizers

I'm on the West Pheonix, west of Shetland, off on friday although never guaranteed with the shortage of Heli's since that EC225 ditched on its way here. Crew changes are hit and miss right now. Bloody hope I get off as I have a flight to Athens on Sunday. Plenty ROV work right now, thinking of...

    Radian stabilizers

Hey Rich, If I had not got the CS gimbal several months ago i would be holding out for brushless. I haven't even fitted them yet, away at work just now. from what I see they and the PH skyline offer the best performance you can get from a servo driven Gimbal. I got the radians because they are...
