I had similar issues but it was the voltage measurement that was incorrect...... cheap charger and battery monitor...... When I connected a Fluke Multimeter the readings were all 4.2 Volt for both 5000 maH 6S batteries.........

Kloner, Thanks you for that valuable information. It suggests that the DJI WKM controller is capable of eliminating random yaw in hover and forward flight provided the motors and props are 100%..... Will buy an IR thermo asap.....

My Hex is 800mm similar to S800 but flat configuration with 15 x 5.5 carbon fiber props and weighs 12 lbs AUW designed from eCalc for a maximum flight time of 15 minutes using parallel 6S - 5000 maH batteries.

I relocated my ESCs so that the extra length of 3 wires to the motors did not have to be wrapped around the motor arms...... could create inductance to affect the magnetic compass.... seems to improve the situation somewhat but wind was so light for good testing. My pan style motors seem to have a 6 mm motor shaft diameter and the bearing OD appears to be 12.5mm..... Am I out of luck with respect to the tools you provide?

When doing golf course fairways from tee-off to pin how are MR pilots doing these? Especially for the longer holes, e.g., 500 yards. Are pilots using FPV and/or autonomous waypoint flights?

Carefully apply heat to the bottom epoxied end until you can twist the rod. But too much heat will crystallize the epoxy so that it will no longer hold the rod in place when it cools. Best to have an adjustable assembly such as this although it is not very rugged...
