    Extra long F550 arms.

Yes but keep in mind that their depth where the top and bottom plates bolt on is reduced so the space between the plates is a bit less..... probably ok for NAZA system but the WKM IMU module it too tall to fit between the plates.

    Quad is gone/fly-away

Just to clarify for all..... simple data such as morse code requires very little bandwidth which enables extremely long distance communication, e.g., shortwave radio (very narrow bandwidth required) To get complex data to travel in a timely manner, wider bandwidth is required which is more...

    Slowly Losing Calibration.

The problems you are experiencing seem to be quite common to those who have moved from Quad to a Hex or Octo especially if the Hex or Octo has flat arms and those arms are any longer than 550mm. This is an inherent mechanical not FC control issue that even Mikrokopter had for awhile. DJI...

Why use 3 degree offset plates?

For some reason Mikrokopter recommends the use of the following on their MRs. But why? Is it just to increase the rate of yaw on both directions when the pilot calls for it or is their another reason? http://www.mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/AngleAdapter

Do you lose calibration over time?

I had some calibration drifting issues with yaw and aileron with a NAZA that I used to own...... thought it was the RC xmitter but then switched up to a WooKong and the drift problem disappeared! Magnetic declination will drift over time.... not because of the electronics but because it is an...

    F550 Camera set-up: HELP!

Been there.... done that!!!! Get thoroughly familiar with eCalc for multirotors and you will see that you need more thrust to lift your total AUW.....which includes camera, gimbal etc. And to do the lifting efficiently, you need larger diameter props and bigger motors. But to allow for larger...

Just get familiar with and use eCalc for Multirotors to determine the "sweet spots" for your battery capacity..... either one large capacity single battery or parallel sets of 1/2 total maH capacity. All the other methods are simply personal preference and/or speculation.
