    Is soldering really that hard?

usually the 12amp and under are used for the smaller quads and the 20amp + are for the bigger size. I'd recommend getting the ones I posted a link to on my other thread but any will do and you should get at least 1 extra one in case you blow one up.

    Is soldering really that hard?

well I guess anything will work as long as it gets hot enough. putting on 2mm or 3mm bullet connectors is the easiest way I think.

    Is soldering really that hard?

it's extremely important that no metal part is exposed. I've made 3 fires and make it stink so bad and broke a motor cause I had some metal making contact.

    Is soldering really that hard?

whaaaaa, I think a gun is too big to be able to do it easily without touching other nearby parts that could damage it. If you use a soldering iron with a medium to small tip it will be easier. As long as you wait long enough for it to get real hot you just barely touch the solder and it'll...

    Build Issue with Radio

did you set your transmitter to be in ppm mode? I'd use cleanflight. baseflight acts wonky from my experience.

most pain in the butt about building

For me it's the ESCs. I've burned out like 4 ESCs, ended up swapping out ESCs for the same build twice. It's been my fault but for a newbie I think you really need to buy the ESCs that will make it easy for you to solder the motors to if you don't wanna use those bullet connectors. I finally...

    Cc3d or Naze32?

I just ordered the skyline32 mini. It's got a compass too so I can fly in headless mode which I LOVE. I have an advanced model in my 260 frame now and it flys perfectly every time. It's just like a quad you would by that's prebuilt in a store.

How to rescue my lost drone

I think you can get a really long stick somewhere. I know you can find long things in hardware stores but having to buy something will prolly cost as much as the thing. Unless you buy some long sticks and connect them together then return it that would work. I have a 10 foot long wooden stick...

    Is this correct

I took the apm off my top and did the calibrations where you put it on its sides and top and bottom on a box on a flat surface so that should be spot on now. So I'll put it back on later and then do the live calibration where you gotta turn it all around cause I know I didn't do that right but...
