Yessir, I totally agree with that. Thanks again fellas, I will be leaning on your ears again real soon. I guess what my biggest issue right now to figure out is motors, then escs, then power distribution.

    Tarot T810 Build

Sweet. Thanks for the lesson fellas! The one thing that did concern me a bit was the temp of the case of the KDEs. Should I worry about that? Also, what would you recommend for an esc? Thanks again for the very helpful information. It has opened my eyes on a few things and caused me to...

Yeah I was aware of the stats. I was trying to show that the motor specs were a bit different than that of the t motors. Yes the 3520 520s are much more agressive for sure. I am still leaning towards the 3520 400s. Which speed controls would you suggest for them?

    Tarot T810 Build

I think that avroto and Tmotors are completely different motors. I don't know, I am basing my determination off of what ecalc is telling me. The results are quite different from each other. I have looked at both motors, but who knows right? I know that my build WITHOUT the gimbal is almost...

    Tarot T810 Build

If you look at the 3520-520kv, it gets REALLY interesting as far as thrust/weight goes.

    Tarot T810 Build

Yeah, the 3520-400 T Motors aren't gonna work. I ran the avrotos through ecalc and they have plenty of torque to get it up in the air. http://montorc.com/avrotolift3520400kv.aspx They call for an AUW for a hex of 15-20 lbs and an Octo of 20-30 lbs. Here is what my rough ecalc said...

Cool. I think as far as the voices are concerned, I will post a few of the videos that I used to create the sound files from on here, that way I don't try and recreate the wheel some. Now what I will do is create the few sections on how to get them into your Taranis. I have the plus as well.

    Tarot T810 Build

That is a bummer about your Taranis. I think I am going to do a mod on my Turnigy 9x to get it to where I can put a new firmware on it. Right now the factory firmware is a total pos.

Sure, let me put one together and I will post it probably tomorrow. What all are you needing on it? Voices, Failsafe, switch positions etc?

Yep. I am running a mirrorless camera on the gimbal. Sony alpha A series camera. Fairly light with the body and lens. Around 752g with the body and lens. In fact, the AUW, might be around 7.2kg, not 100% positive on that, but the 7kg part I am 100% positive. I've got access to a large...

    Tarot T810 Build

Well, Santa was very good to me this year. I received a Tarot 5d2 gimbal and a Turnigy 9x radio system. I have spent the past week constructing, tweaking and finalizing the build of the 5d2. I am not going to lie, it was a pain in the ass to get the gimbal setup, and yet it has its quirks...
