Well I think I fried mine ! I was hooking up a v2 vmu to a v1 controller and smoked it. The controller works it flys in atti fine. But won't recognize the gps. Bought a new gps and it still won't show up in assistant. Everything is setup right, I've done It dozens of times. Must fried something...

On another forum (phantom) they were saying that top speed was down quite abit , but battery life was up.

I've seen some post were the limiting is locking up. Not the height limiting that seems fine. Just the distance.

Your flight mode switch is 3 position. 1 Manuel. 2 alti. 3 gps. You have to be in gps for home lock , course lock. The switch on the left side back is your failsafe. In that link I sent you , it will tell you how to set it. What receiver are you using?

My magnetic declination is 12o west. Does that mean just turn the compass arrow a little counter clockwise?

Michael it works fine. If you read that whole link that's just his way of doing it. It's perfect on my DX8 and f450 quad. Trust me on this
