Problem solved now, I've managed to install a version of the GH3 assistant and also roll back to v1.4 which has fixed the shutter issue, if anyone experiences this problem, PM me.

Hi Dave, thanks for posting, you were bang on mate...what i missed was to notice that the shutter cable was very slightly catching or rubbing on the gimbal during the sequence, so this must have been disrupting the process, so I've re aligned the cable and ensured it doesn't come into contact...

well I've just totally taken the camera out and re installed for the 2nd time, and the spinning has stopped now, back to normal, which is good, but that doesn't tell me why it was doing it in the first place, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears, because the last thing i need is for...

Chaps, without any incidents etc, after powering on the S1000, and what looks like the usual spinning sequence, the gimbal simply carries on spinning, and spinning and spinning! not fast or anything just normal speed but won't stop... So, usual power off/on a few times, checked it over, no...

they've released the GH4 gimbal! after clearly telling me from DJI HQ there were no plans! :dejection:

agh right because the person/uav rc shop which set my channels up thought a channel couldn't turn the video on and therefore had to be done manually, so i defo need to sort that out aswell, thanks ; )

I think my issue is a programming one om 14SG, the switch hasn't been assigned properly, so gona tackle that now.. Ben do you have a switch assigned to start videoing when in movie mode or do you turn it on manually?

Hi all, those who are using a GH3 on there S1000, can you tell me all the exact settings uve set to take still images please? Ive set the camera as per the Z15 GH3 pdf. which shoots the video fine when i manually press the button on the camera, but then I've tested each of the settings to take...
