I use Spektrum telemetry hardware to monitor voltage. It works great - my receiver vibrates and I get a warning sound when the voltage goes below a set level.

I agree with flitelab on the batteries. My question would be, do we need additional restrictions given that Transport Canada has so many requirements already? I do think we need to be as safe as possible but sometimes with all the restrictions and guidelines we find it difficult to do business...

We had a more a similar but much more dramatic result and the problem went away when we replaced all our ESCs.

I read it differently, he indicated he was holding the ship and trying to establish if he could sense the control of the sticks by feel from the movement. I don't recall any mention of him using the setup assistant.

I would recommend checking your connections to make sure that yaw is setup properly in the radio and the receiver and it is connected properly to the correct input on the Hoverfly Pro board. You should be able to test this in the Assistant Software - power up the ship while the usb is connected...

If you are talking about beeping coming from the Hoverfly board, that is normal and actually a safety feature that indicates your board is armed, it doesn't go away till you give it more throttle. I am using Afro 30A (HobbyKing) with my setup and those are working smoothly so far.

I have now tested both the 30 A Afro ESCs and iPeak 40A. The smaller ocoto HFP setup with the Afro ESC flew smooth. My Droidworx WK-M flew perfectly smooth with the iPeak 40A ESCs. I have never had it fly this smooth but then again that may not be the ESCs per se but having the electronics...

The temperature got over 0C and the wind dropped for an evening, so I took my smaller ocoto out for test flight and it flew smooth with the Afro 30A ESCs and HFP. I think those will work well but time will tell the real story. This setup has been a very reliable ship for us. I am still...
