    Flight Controllers down under

Your right unless you are using the DJI H3-3D and CGU Unit. The gimbal connection back to the Naza M is via the Can Port and this leaves F1 and F2 available connection of motors 7 and 8. Here's how that looks.

Nex-5N and X-Cam X140 gimbal (my first videos)

Hey kjetilpa, I've been thinking of the X140 gimbal. I notice the vids are no longer linked. Any chance you can repost them. I'd love to hear what you think of the X140. What flight controller are you using it with? Love to hear from you.

    Flight Controllers down under

Hi folks, just found this forum and see the action from OZ is pretty light on. No matter..my 2 cents worth is NAZA M V2. Not sure what's not "straightforward" in the set up of the Naza FC, as I found it super easy. Tarot 680Pro E600's, Ground Station, Sony NEX5N, but moving to the 810 with a...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Sorry eskil, I got mixed up. I was replying to a post from AEA737. Whoops. He tried the CF as replacements for the standard DJI ones and didn't like them. The carbon fibre on my quad were, from memory, about 60% of the weight of the plastic. Mainly though they were much better balanced and...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Hi eskil, I thought the carbon fibre might have been better. What a pity, but thanks for the heads up. Here are a couple of not great pics of the build so far. Still to add H3 and FPV, but getting everything sorted before then and some cable tidying to complete. Last night we flew for 21 minutes...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Hi everyone, my new Tarot 680Pro with the following kit is now complete and has had a very successful first test flight. Phew! Thanks for the posts and advice. Will now be adding the DJI H3 and GoPro 3+ over the next few days. Will post some pics as soon as that's all done. The build is as...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

That totally makes sense now thank you. I am planning on some LED's and the DJI 3D gimbal and FPV set up so the whole BEC thing will be stage 2 for me. On another note (HELP...anyone) but I am only 30 minutes into my Tarot 680 Pro build and was at the point of mounting the DJI E 600 motors on...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Thanks for the info Javier, I'm in Australia, but can source Tiger props OK. I have carbon fibre on my quad and they are awesome. Full build of the hex starts this weekend. cheers

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Wow AEA737 - great job. Nice and neat. I am about to build a Tarot Pro with the E600's and am wondering, is the DJI PMU taking power straight from the 6S battery? Also please keep me posted if you source the Tiger props and let me know how they go. Awesome.

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Also and interesting approach here for anyone else thinking about reworking their ESC's due to their size and fitting them under each motor. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2212392

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Yeah I have thanks. I've been following CPO for a while now and have used some of his tips in the start of the build so far. I'm keen to keep the ESC's under the motors using the short wires already installed. Will probably do it that way to start with an see what it's like. thanks

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Thanks Rocketman. Quick update. The DJI E600 kit arrived yesterday along with a 6S 4500mha 30C battery. The real surprise was just how enormous the ESC's are. The are huge. They don't fit in the pocket under the motor mount on the Tarot 680 Pro arms, which others I have seen posted do. Will just...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Thanks so much everyone. Finally some clear and good advice I can rely on. You won't believe how much better it makes me feel about this build. Fantastic. Will keep you posted if you're interested in how it goes. E600's all arrived last night. Main board is already prepped so next phase feels...
