Hello all, havent posted on here for a while as have been playing with home build quads for the last few months.
Thought id dust off the Gaui and give it a fly, forgot how easy and fun to fly this little quad is, anyway here is a short video from the other day.

I had this issue, i found the throttle setting was not low enough to arm the board, it seemed as though the trim changed when i unplugged the board from the lead, just set the trim as low as it will go.

Im running the same frame but have gone down a different route with motors FC and ESC's. Im running a version of multi Wii and copied warthox motor and esc setup from his web site by using Keda motors (cheap and cheerful) and Hobbywing ESC also cheap and cheerful.

Hi All don't own an ARdrone but did find a great little sim programme on Android, have been playing with it for a few days and i think its quite good fun.
It has all the camera angles and the Developer is updating it very quickly.

I was looking the other day at the 500x frame again, think I'll go for one as I'd does look like a more stable platform.
I have a multiwii controller in my gaui as I found the gu344 lacking a bit.
Do you have any vids of yours flying?

Not sure if you have the manual but here are the relevant pages for setting up the ESC and GU344.

Hi Phenoman, I have the 300 xs if you are using the GU-344 i would forget the hover mode side of the flight controller, its not the best and as someone told me its like flying after drinking 5 pints of larger.
when i had issues with me GU-344 i found the best thing to do was go back to base...
