That is consistent with my experience when my quad was stock and naked. I was using a Pulse 4s 4100mAh battery and getting 12 minutes or better with modest maneuvering.

That is what I have done. I have the 10" RMRC monitor mounted on the tray they offer. It's a bit unwieldy due to the added weight and there is a neck strap offset that may be a good idea to help balance it -- I did a homemade approach to that. I like the monitor because I often fly alone and...

Chris, your main question did not get answered. You don't need anything more than a gimbal and fpv through your GoPro (assuming). Fly LOS, get to your subject, look at your MONITOR (not goggles) frame, shoot, fly away.

Is that "tiny bit" of movement possibly enough to cause problems with the FC?

@xsnowb27 Based mostly on what I've read here and around other forums, and a little bit on personal experience so far, I'd say the following on batteries. Go with 4s instead of 3s. Most people find the 4s on the stock DJI motors and even 10" props does just fine. DJI warns of overheating motors...

Glad you came out as well as you did, Rupert. You might take a look at Anderson Power Poles at least for your main battery connection. Extremely secure.
