See that's good to know too!
I've used them for the past little while. I have noticed that they seem a little more hot then others after a flight but the only problem I've experienced is I've had a wire & solder tear off the PCB paper (on the ESC), twice now on two separate ESCs. To explain a...
Yeah, ah, it's funny that you say that Pete. I was on the web this morning looking at those ESCs and wondering how they'd fair. Most of the reviews seem positive but are they any different then the RCTimers?
Hello everyone,
I'm considering using some RcTimer SK-30A ESCs on a Naza build with RcTimer HP2212 1000kV motors but I'm reading more and more that there is problems with these ESCs. Something about a crystal missing which can cause drift?
I've already used these ESCs on an APM build I...
Damage,
I think it's likely that you were in RTH x2
- RTH mode as you asked to be.
- Then when you tried to take it out of RTH it went back automatically into RTH due to the low battery.
Check your settings. Could this be the possibility?

Turnigy 9XR hands down... I was a skeptic at first but I've been using this remote for the past 4 months and now I'm a believer. You simply cannot get a better remote for the price.
Hey Pete,
Thanks for the reply.. I can't seem to find the NTM 28-30 1000kv Motors on HK. I found the 750kV ones... Can you link them for me please?
I have 9 10" Graupners ready for use... but I imagine the lower the kV the better with 10"?
So I've upgraded to a TBS Discovery which I plan to build in the near future. My experience with the DJI motors hasn't been positive so I'm in the market for new ones. I'd like to get something more reliable, more balanced out of the box and longer lasting.
I see that the TBS Motors 750kv...
I always understood that in GPS mode it should maintain the height while in full forward flight. This is because the Naza shouldn't allow you to tilt the MR forward enough it cause the loss in height. In Atti mode though because the Naza allows for a more agressive tilt forward the MR will loose...
I've flown in -10, no problems. I've seen YouTube videos of guys flying in more then -20C, so I think your okay there.
I do recall something in the DJI manual about the GPS not being able to function properly near the poles.
How do you like your TBS Discovery? I'm thinking of going that route for an FPV setup but I'm also considering the Hoverthings Quads as well. Did you get the Core? Any advice?
