I just had a look at their video. I can't say that i am impressed with the stabilization. It seems about as good as the onboard MK solution when it comes to holding the horizon (or not). http://vimeo.com/42166876

I just had a very long discussion with Kim at PH. He is fully aware of the frustrations everybody is experiencing and has taken several steps to rectify the situation in due course. He is very open to suggestions and places great importance on ultimately delivering on his promise.

The two highlighted issues are likely to be related. To me it would indicate, that there is no Roll Pot signal going to the servo. Please double check your connections. Hi all, I am Beta-Testing the 1.1.7 and have been testing this product right from the start. The power-up procedure is the same as before, assuming you have installed the new 1.1.7 software: 1. plug the programming cable into the USB port and PanInput 2. open the Skyline Software 3. connect to...

I tried the 1.1.4 as well - and it is a lot more quiet than the 1.1.6. There is still some jitter on Tilt, but that may be due to my power setup - UBEC 6V to Skyline and 1 Servo, independent battery to the other servo. I have to rip the "H-Loom" out of another gimbal to try - yikes. Now there...

You don't need to be concerned if you already own a PhotoHigher gimbal (AV130 or AV200). They come with the servo modification to external pot already done. I presume this pdf-guide is meant for users who want to use the Skyline RSGS on other gimbals.
