I really like this forum as it seems to have some good information on just about any copter subject. I live in the east San Francisco Bay area.
I am definitely new to multi-rotor copters. I have an AR Drone that got me started, but I plan on putting together my own quad copter and I am just trying to gather more details before deciding on all the parts. I do however have an airframe that I started with from Carbon Core, 500x4. It is a very lightweight airframe and very strong, but there are already some things I would like to change on it. The biggest issue is it does not have a good deal of space for the gimbal/camera. So, I will likely change the standard legs. Once I have a reasonably airframe together I want to figure out the best camera to use for FPV and shoot pictures/video remotely. Looking forward to researching and getting this project started.
