Howdy,

If parallel two 2S 3000mAh Lipo batteries, would that make one 4S 6000mAh battery?

cheers

if i connect two 4S 5000mah in Parallel 25-30C Batteries. does it still be 25-30c discharge rate?

i checked on eCalc with my 2814 motor, on 1 Paralel it says 246 Watt power, on 2 P Battery it says 269 Watt of power which make it max power of the Motor limit

the c rating doubles running them parallel, not sure about series. 269watts on 4s is nothin.... 18.17ampsx14.8v=269w

a 5000mah 25c has a cont rating 125 amps, 2 of them would be good to 250 amps,,,,, that's 3700 watts on 4s

Yes, and I proved it out experimentally as well, accidentally.

I did a setup on eCalc using 8 3536-910 motors with 13" props and 2-4S5000 packs, and it said it was fine. I did a bench test to measure thrust, with one motor, drawing from one pack. The watts were too great.

The reason is simple. With one motor drawing off one pack, the load on the battery is low. The battery delivers about 16.5V to the motor, so it makes LOTS of power. However, with 4 motors drawing off 1 pack, the load is greater, and due to the internal resistance of the pack, the voltage delivered to the motors is only maybe 15.5V, so the motors make less power.

I ended up returning the propellers, and only realized what happened afterwards.
