49 seconds in, i get the new wobble. The first but is me on the sticks tryin to get it
Setup is ht fpv, naza, mt 2216-10 900kv, 4s, funfly 30 mid timing
Gains basically default 100,100,120,120 Atti 8080
Ive gone up and down on gains and cant really sort it, i have not tried high advance on my esc's yet but on low it was similar or same.
The equipment flew well on my 4f50 with gains around 140 accross, difference now is esc's and frame.... Naza is also 1.5" forward of cOg

Anythought
thanks

The rest of the movie is pertty good for what i want, happy with stability and such a bit higher on the yaw i think

Elliott the roll movement before sec 49 is you telling it to roll left and right or thats already part of the problem ?

49 seconds is my input attempting to get what i got, the wobble. in a flight prior it went off while yawing with some aileron input... I had it up 70 feet or so and saved it in the air well maybe it just stopped lol but it went for about 4 or 5 seconds
I should mention at times ive heard an odd sound from a motor only slightly, im going to try high timing and then back to low once the kid has a nap, ill report back and take some video... on board and tripod

i had issue like that and it turned out to be a bullet connection between esc and motor. it was difficult to diagnose because it didnt happen all the time and bullet connection looked good. it was not though.

Are you reffering just to contact? Just wierd of it is considering it performs well with gentle input... Ill check, i dont want to have thos thing rockin a wobble a kilometer out lol

to tell you the truth i doubt that any of this as something to do with wrong gains or the timing of the ESCs. Maybe because of too high timing over heating etc. I am with hjls3 check all the cables and inspect your bird closely after a flight if motors or escs are to hot etc.

any strange behavior in the TX configuration screen when you move the sliders with the radio ?

props off and let the motors run on low speed, wiggle the connector press onto the escs and see if anything changes the behavior. Also wiggle the ESCs connections and the Servos cable between FC and RX etc. Just stress it all to see if something happens.

my connections looked fine but when i actually put my hands to them i discovered one was not all the way inserted. I would certainly go thru each bullet connection and one at a time unplug and plug in. hope you get it figured out. certainly a nice day to fly in my neck of the woods.

Went over everything and got it better, i couldnt get a wicked wobble but it tried. Esc are now low, and its ok.... Im going to open it up and solder in my stock dji escs for a laugh, that will make me sure... Had a nice fpv until i cut in between my neighbors trees and gave em a trim, little tighter tgan i thought lol no damage from the fall tho :)

awesome. i too fall victim, every time i get my MR flying perfect...i tend to get a little brave. oh well, its how you learn, or at least how i learn.

u guys think since my naza is a couple inches forward of the cog it would affect?... just was reading the thread on the naza mounting location, got me thinkin

sorry elliot i dont know. i do know that i have read several times that naza should be in the center and carefully aligned. mine is center and it flies great. might be worth re-locatiing while you are trying to figure out a solution to the wobbles.

Alright... DJI 30a opto esc's work awesome, flies great and doesnt loose it and go for a wobble on speedy stick inputs, put the hobbywings in (made quick connect style setup for testing) and it does its thing.... weird man. Anyways after a few flights the dji are holding strong! Makes me wonder if the ESC's were the cause of my Droidworx heavy lifter crash, im thinkin ill oerder some dji's for it now aswell.
Thanks for all the help, now i can sleep tonight lol

No thats what i dont get. Everything feels fine even if i fight it in the air like that for 3 minutes so i dont crash lol... I got my LHS bringing me some 9"just for a try. If no better than ill finally surrender and reinstall the dji 30 ampers
