Futaba S-Bus to WKM Problem

Hello !

Till today I flew with a traditional receiver and my HEXA with WKM flew perfect.

Today I wanted to switch the receiver to a Futaba R6308SBT receiver.
I configured the receiver to S-Bus and connected the S-Bus port to the X2 port of the WKM.
I changed the firmware configuration with the firmwaretool to D-Bus.

But the WKM does not react on the S-Bus.
I cannot see any movement of the sticks in the SW tool.
The tool does also not write any error.

What is wrong ?
What else do I have to do to make the S-Bus work ?

Please help !

Fritz

Just to make sure, on the R6308SBT only channel 8 can be configured for S-Bus ...

Sam

Yes I connected to channel 8 and configured the receiver to mode 2 S-bus.
But no connection.
The tool says " receiver error "

Do I have to disconnect the other inputs A E T U X1 and R ?
Right now they are still connected to the "old" receiver.
I think this should not be a problem because WKM takes the signals fro S-bus.

I am really frustrated.

Yes, you should only have two cords coming out of that side of unit. One for the power source and one for the cord going to your S-bus input on your receiver, or...you will get that error.

(Unless you are fly and 8 motor config with a gimbal. Then you will have your gimbal outputs on that side too)

I have disconnected all wires except those 2.
No reaction of the WKM.
( I have checked the S-Bus output of the receiver with an oscilloscope and the signal is coming out )
I also tried this receiver with traditional outputs to the WKM : everything is working.
Is it possible that WKM has a problem with the S-Bus in the latest firmware ?

nope. I've been flying SBUS on mine with latest firmware without issues.

What is status LED on the receiver doing?

Make sure your TX is on "FASST MULTI 2" mode.

TX is on multimode 2.

The pc tools says "CFG-err 8 ".
I cannot find the explanation for this error.
Which error is this ?

Hi,

I've 2 Futaba 6028SB and they connected fine with only one cable. Unless I read incorrectly, you should not be connecting to channel 8 of the TX but to to the special Sbus connector below channel 8.

Cheers
