Flamewheel hop-ups

Been working on a couple of upper plate designs which give a bit more room for a full fpv set-up, with a wkm.

Here are a couple of pics of version 1. As you can see there's dedicated mounts for the gps antenna mast, VTx antenna and gunters LED mount.

There's also slots on the lower upper plate for mounting the fpv cam and a slot on the upper, upper plate for mounting the GoPro on a K-edge mount.

The immersionRC ezOSD, current sensor and VTX are sandwiched between the upper plates.

Version 2 should be back with me late next week - this will move the VTX antenna further out allowing it to be installed facing downwards and the gps antenna mount will be a little larger and move out a little more too.

Hi Plingboot, thats a nice idea, I think that is the way i'm going to do mine, the only thing that i'll say with the clove antena you have on top is, move it facing downwards and as low as you can get it from your rig, it will work better.

Right, here's my flamewheel with version 2 of the upper plates.

Very pleased with how this has worked out now… this build includes:

• fatshark fpv cam
• ImmersionRC ezOSD
• ImmersionRC ezOSD current sensor
• ImmersionRC ezOSD gps on flamewheel arm
• ImmersionRC new 5.8ghz Vtx
• VAS BlueBeam antenna
• 14.8V 2200mAh flight pack

Graham at quadframes cut these parts from my designs and i've said he can use the design to cut parts for anyone else who's interested…

nice! what kinda flight times do you get from 2200? whats the sensor up over the rx?
