New gopro firmware supposed to fix picture problems

I just got an email from tech support at Gopro and they said new firmware will get rid of that color haze that occurs every now and then.

If you already have the gopro cineform software installed, just plug in the camera and it'll update

FYI, I hate to be pushy but I have to mention this as every little bit helps, there's a GoPro banner at the bottom of each page. By clicking it and using it to enter the GoPro store, a commission is paid to the website with each purchase that you complete. i tried to do it today to get a 960 for the front of my quad,,,, they're out. tried
