s bus convertors info

I have a Wookong M, and running a CInistar8 with a spectrum 8. I have run out of port on main controller, as they are all full of the ESc's
I need to run the SLR gimbal and need an additional two ports to run the gimbal. I was informed i need a S bus converter. Anyone out there use one, and can give me advice on how to configure.

Hi Dan, I have just bought the futaba 8fg that has the s bus but I have not set it up yet. When I do I will let you know how I get on. What distribution board are you using for your Octo?

hobbyking is offering an orange rx for spectrum dsm2 and has an sbus output. dunno anything else, just seen it on a post here

Im not sure I understand...... We are planning to get the S-Buss receiver. Dose this unit provide telemetry back to the Futaba 8FG?
