in manual, it does all the same up to the 4 green lights then goes black,,,,, in atti, it goes into a really slow single flash, like every 3 sec one flash, when the battery gets low, it does 2 flashes every 3 seconds

yours is totaly acting like it doesn't have a connection between the tx and the naza

No mate that is not my quad in the video.... I just try to say that my naza don't do the 1234 beep thing that's in that video
And was trying to find out if my naza and motors should do that.

from what you saying.... I get the same as you with the LEDs.... But if I try and do the Csc all I get is 2 flashes every 3 sec till
I let go of the sticks and it don't arm at all :(

I get no 1234 beep at startup.... Just beep every 3 or 4 sec from the motors

No mate like I said .... I get no 1234 beep from motors on power up ... Unlike the video.... But i do Get all the LEDs you do but when I goto arm motors all I get is 2 yellow flashes every 3 sec and it don't arm the motors.... Then when I let go of the controls it gos back to the 1 yellow flash every 3 sec.

Yep my led gos off if I switch to manual

At 0.14sec into the video he get 2 beeps then like a 1234 beep.....

When I power up I get 2 beeps but I don't get the 1234 thing.... Just get beep from all motors every 3 or 4 sec over n over
Anyway after my 4 greens I get yellow every 3 sec so try n arm and just get 2 yellows every 3 sec till I let go of controls
And that is where I'm at mate.

is it recommended to individually calibrate the esc's that come with the RTF? I was told they dont need to be. this is the only thing I feel I havent done.

now i got my usb driver/hardware resolved I cant keep the heli from violently flipping over. I dont even have a chance to recover it. I cant call this ground effect, something is definitely wrong. Any ideas?

Hi Carl ,
Your very welcome , and so glad your up and running :)
Sometimes its the simple things that are overlooked and I myself have made the same mistakes along the way ... But this is how we learn .
Have fun with the Naza

To Iris, Have you double checked everything is in correct ports ? Usually a flip is caused by FC facing wrong way or a motor wire in the wrong slot .
Not saying this is the case but its worth a double check to eliminate the obvious things.

And Geoff you would be right! Duh! I was so focused on everything else I had the FC turned 90 deg. Thanks. Next issue I know i that is going to bother me is that 2 of the motors are very loud and loose. 2 feel "normal" like most other motors I have owned. The problem is even if it flies ok I bet this will add to the vibration when I add my Red Epic, I mean Gopro, to the F450.
