DJI Naza

Does anyone know when they are coming out with the Naza. I was thinking about putting together one of the DJI frames and the Naza and make a small aerobatic quad. Or if it is out where do I get one.

I hate to do aerobatics with my xAircraft and DJI WKM

Sometime around mid-December they should be available, no one has any yet but there have been offers for pre-order. Rumor has it the entire kit, frame, motors, esc's, and Naza controller will be released around the same time, cost of slightly under $500 for everything.

I was torn between it and the FY90Q but I like the WKM so much I think their's will be top notch and for aeobatics I won't need the GPS function, unless I have radio failure! :)

I hope it has the Voltage Monitoring function because it will do a gentle descent when the battery gets too low, which is a lot more likely, in my case, than a radio failure. :)

Also, I never could get my FY-90Q setup dialed in very well. I know you can get "under the hood", and tweak the PID settings, but that is such a hassle. I don't want to have to go in and fix the clock, just to find out what time it is. :tennis:

I am thinking that we may see it prior to Christmas. Sidney made an offer of half off for the kit; Naza, F450 frame, motors and esc's. $230 plus $20 shipping. Not a bad deal for the 10 that saw it. I have my F450 frame already and took apart my DIY quad so I have all the parts I need to put one together. Now I just need a Naza to play with.

I didn't see that deal anywhere?

From RCG on 11/28 at 6:26am.

DJI is committed in bringing out reliable products; and stand behind the products.

Your post gives me an idea ......

For all the users supporting us insofar; I will offer half price of a complete Naza (F450 frame, ESC, motor and Naza controller) for the first 10 people by replying "I am in." in this thread.

That is $230 plus $20 shipping. I am sure our dealers worldwide won't mind me doing this.

If you think you are not treated fairly, please let me know I will make it up. Our Single Waypoint release will be delayed a few days. I have received a few PMs regarding the single Waypoint from this user group. If you are still interested please PM me again.

I saw it over at RCG. I was tempted to jump on it, but I needed something with GPS as well. That's a fantastic deal though!

Anyone know if Naza will work with an 8 rotor? If so then is it the same deal for running a gimbal ie require SBus?

Cheers

I'm wondering why the big difference in price. RChobbyhelicopter.com has them for 220.00 pre order. Are there various packages or something.

The Naza manual and software are up on the DJI site. Now if we only had product life would be good. Maybe Santa will make a special trip for us.
