hello there,

i want to build arduino quadcopter but i have some prublems, because it's a first time for me building any kind of flying machine. i have already purchased some part:
1) arduino uno
2) frame x525
3) 4 - Turnigy D2836/8 1100KV Brushless Outrunner Motors

i need your help. what part i need to buy next? keep in mind that i have tight budget, so i am searching for low price esc and other materials.

ps. is that possible to control this quadcopter directly from smartphone?

You will need some sort of power distribution board and a battery as well.

For those motors you should probably use at least 25 amp ESCs. Yes you can "control" it from a smartphone though I would hesitate to actually call that stuff control. You really are better off using a real TX that actually can control it past the limited range that a phone has. Remember the safety aspect (which is missing in your desire to control by phone) and if it weighs over .55 lbs you have to get your numbers.
At a bare minimum you might get by on 20amp ESCs but I always go bigger than smaller when it comes to those.

The best way for a first time builder is to find a build thread on a copter that you like and copy that. They usually post part lists and show the assembly of the build.

Buying a bunch of random parts never works and is usually a waste of money.
