I have been running around, checking online to get Immersion RC 600Mw TX and some form of an Immersion RC Groundstation receiver. Today I found a place that has them, if you're interested and while he has them.. check this link http://www.futurehobbies.com speak to Wade, the guy is very, very helpful.

Immersion stuff is great....but it's with strawberries. In the right season you get some....but most of the time not. Had to wait for almost 3 month to get my habds on a 600 Mw Tx. One downside is the limitations (8 Channels) within the 5.8 GhZ range. In 5.8 GhZ you have 4 bands with 8 channels each, and all stuff (Goggles, Rx, Tx...) have to be in the same band:

If I am not wrong, Immersion is on BOSCAM-E band....

Just by lurking arround I found a product which covers ALL bands within the 5.8 GhZ :

http://www.foxtechfpv.com/58g-600mw-32ch-vtxrx-p-1118.html

There might be more places to buy them....

1) We made comparison tests between the new stuff and Immersion stuff, and there are no differences at all in range and link quality.

2) The transmitter doesn't look like being home-made....nice little box and easy to mount...

3) With the channel indicator it's a brezze to tune Tx and Rx...

4) Most important: No more incompadible existing components.....because of the 32 channels it can be hooked to ANY existing equipment (as long as in the 5.8 GhZ range)

Perfect find Chris. Wish they'd do the same for 2.4! What a hassle between the fatsharks, the boscam and lawmate triangle!!

immersion is airwave... bosscam is there main competition. to use fatshark goggles you use immersion transmitters cause they both share airwave chips..... i think yellowjacket too but there too much money

CHris,

How do they compare in size to the usual 5.8 ghz transmitters?

The 5G8 Almighty 600mW TX32 is a few millimeters wider, but it's flat on the back-side....much easier to mount.

Hope this helps
