Hello Everybody
I am having an interesting/frustrating problem with my DJI F550.
it all started a few days ago when i was fpv-ing at 100m altitude 120m radius around my property. My copter started to respond incorrectly to commands, Im not sure what caused it as it was so high up. But it seemed to not respond to yaw commands and turned on it's own volition, this resulted in me having one hell of a crash into a tree breaking both centre plates.
I replaced the plates the next day and rebuilt everything to specification but i am still having issues with an intermittent yaw to the right and a refusal or slow control response when asking it to yaw to the left.
I have tried flying it in Atti mode in case the problem was with the gps/compass module, the problem still continues
I have tried moving then re-binding and re-calibrating the controller tx+rx, the problem continues
I have checked the frame+props+motors for bending or deformation, everything is good
I have tried a different flight controller and gps module, the problem continues
I have checked and cleaned all solder/bullet connectors in and out of the escs, the problem continues
I have tried changing the gains, you guessed it, problem continues
I have pretty much rebuilt the thing twice over since the crash and guess what!! THE PROBLEM CONTINUES!!!
My setup is as follows
DJi innovations f550 frame
DJi 30 amp escs
Naza M V2 with corresponding compass module running firmware version 4.02
dji 1045 Propellers (balanced)
Dji 2212 920kv
Futaba t8j tx R2008SB rx
Fat shark teleporter v3 RX fatshark 250mwTX
DJI landing gear
Generic Ugly as f..k gimbal
X2 5500mah floureon batteries, good for 20 mins flight
AUW 2.4kg
Gains 170p 170r 140y 130a
I am guessing a motor on one of the counter-clockwise motors/escs must be acting up in order to cause a clockwise yaw with no input, that said there are no indications of a lean due to a lagging motor when hovering or pitching and rolling. I have no spare motors or ESCs to troubleshoot with, can any of you guys think of any further troubleshooting i can do to find the offending component or setting.
I have tried searching numerous forums including this one but can't seem to find anything properly relevant to my issue.
Any insight or help you guys might be able to offer will be much appreciated.
Thankyou
