WK-M PMU failure

I have heard that there have been an uncomfortably high occurrence of PMU failures? Has anyone had a failure of the DJI PMU? Does anyone recommend using a third party BEC?

Haven't heard that. Mine has been perfect since I bought it. One recommendation though. If you run the gimbal from the controller, remove the power and put that on a bec instead. That way, if a servo has an issue, ( they are high draw anyway ), it doesn't drain pmu power, which is low amp.

I too haven't had any issues but use a separate BEC for gimbal servo power.
