Hi, been searching this and other forums to answer my question but have not really found an answer, could someone enlighten me if this is possible...

And what camera mount do you recommend in such case..

Thanks...

Aye Up Flypilot.. Welcome to MRF.. I think you would be asking a lot of a F550 to do that.. I dont have one but I know my ADX3 says NO when I loaded her up with my 550!

Hmm, sounds like it works out with that much weight... I only need it to be airborne around 8 minutes at a time..no need for 15 min flights.

I'm sure it would lift it no problem. But you would be stressing everything. The idea is to have twice the thrust as your payload. If you get above that you have less control, more heat, less airtime, and less buffer when you start to descend quickly.

F550 would lift it ok but not with the standard motors try TM 4008's with 30 amps esc. 12x4.7 APC's

12" is to big

I've got 11x5 and shortened the props to 10,75x5

Slapped on some cheap big bell type motors, put them on the edge of the arm.

2x 4000mah 4S nanotech

Bigass gimbal and 550d

flies great for 8 min and low build cost for and 550d platform
