Where to mount compass mast on F550 Hex

Just got my Naza GPS today. Actually read the manual before doing anything. I sure wish DJI would hire tech writers who are better prepared to write for the English-speaking market. Am I alone in this feeling?

In any case, the section detailing mounting the compass is very short and, to my mind, pretty unclear. Where have folks been mounting it? My FPV gear, OSD and cameras occupy the front of the unit. Is it OK to mount it between the two rearmost arms? I just want to be sure before gluing.

i found the setup on page 2 pretty interesting. didnt use mast. i would have thought that the motors (magnets) might mess with the GPS lock however, reports are that it works fine. I have now read about a couple guys having success mounting between the arms, under the props. Whatever you decide - good luck, i am jealous that i did not pre-order. Happy flying.

That's me - It seems to work just fine I think.
I get GPS lock-on within about 20 - 30 seconds and never lose it. Once airborne the F550 does circle around a for a short while but then settles down.
