Hi all, i am going to build a RC Timer x650 quad, and was wondering what motors would be best for longest flight time using 4s lipo and probably 9x3.8 props ? all suggestions welcome, Thanks.

I'd suggest you think about what your asking. What motors to do what?

Just about any motor will fly a x650 quad, but what do you want it to do? How much weight do you plan to lift? If all your going for is flight time then get bigger props, lower KV motors, 9" props are a bit small for that sized frame [again depending on what you hope to accomplish].

A good all-round motor is the Avrotto 2814-11s. There are similar, less expensive motors from SunnySky.

But usually when a question goes unanswered then its generally too vague.

Good luck with your decision.

Might be helpful to use eCalc to see how the motor specs effect the performance when coupled with various batteries/props/weight etc.

And Av8 is right on - what you plan to accomplish is really want should guide your decision.

Mr take no prisoners!
On that frame 9 inch props are really smaller than I would choose, 10 inch might be okay but some SunnySky 35xx 700-800kv motors with 11-12 inch props would be a nice place to be looking.
